How can you create local folders (ie, saved to your hard drive) in Windows
Mail?
Unlike Outlook, the folders I create in Windows Mail are subcategorized in
the Inbox, therefore contribute to the overall size usage of my mailbox.

How can I organize my mail with subfolders and save/hold them locally??

Same way as it was done in OE:
Right-click on Local Folders, select New Folder.

If you're implying that you're Local Folders mail store is on a network, I
don't think there's a way to accomplish what you want. But I could be
wrong -- I have been before :)

Thanks both of you!
So you're saying that my Inbox and everything else is stored locally? Okay.
It seems to me that the Inbox and main folders (Sent, etc) on OE were on the
network, while Local Folders was a separate local directory. I could be wrong.

Thanks!

If you have an IMAP account then there are folders on the servers WinMail
can access. But not if you have a POP3 account.
