As I am working everyday on the same files which I need to copy to
another directory from time to time, I keep two folders open on my
desktop all the time.

Although if I shut the computer down and restart, the folders have all
closed.
In other versions of windows all folders that are open at shutdown
will be open when you restart.

Is there an option somewhere to allow me to start where I left off by
saving open folders

thanks,

Colin

I don't know of any option that can be set to enable this (doesn't
mean it doesn't exist) but you could set 2 startup shortcuts to your
folders. Every time you login, they would open.
