I want to save files from one program i.e. my documents
to a C-D or zip drive and I get the message that this
file cannot be saved as is used a different file name. Is
there any way that I can save without changing the file
name each time I save? As you can see I am a novice at
this but it is driving me up the wall. Would appreciate
any info you can give me. I am using Windows XP Home
Edition. Thanks- I am 78yrs. young so be patient.

What exactly is the message in regards to the file name? If the program is
complaining about overly long file names or paths, the best way to avoid
this situation would be to create the files with names that the backup
program will tolerate.

PS: The above situation occurs when burning to CDR (Joliet file system).
Using CDRW (UDF conventions), this problem does not occur.
