I have Office 2003. In the save file function in PowerPoint I am not
offered the option of saving with a pps extension, only the ppt extension. If
I send as an e-mail attachment, is there a difference between pps and ppt.
If so, how do I save with a pps extension?

You can go to the Windows explorer and rename the file from anything.ppt to
anything.pps
Make sure that you can see the file extension before doing so.

Do you work at home with Office 2003 or is at work? Maybe your admin made
some changes in your Office and did not allow saving as pps.

Are you SURE you are not offered the pps option. Microsoft have concealed
it
slightly and you must use the scroll arrow to see it!

that gives me the idea if vegasodds sees any of the file extensions in the
"File Save" dialog. In this case the option would be concealed deeply!

vegasodds, look for "powerpoint show" in the "save as type"-list.
