saving error

I finished my project (it has only still pictures and about 6 clips of songs
in it) and it plays perfectly fine while it's still a "project". I tried to
save it to my computer as a movie, and the first time i tried it told me it
had saved successfully. However, when I tried to play it as a movie, it got
stuck on one of the first few pictures, while the music kept playing. I went
to the site:
http://www.myvideoproblems.com/Tutorials/MovieMaker/File_type_compatibility.htm
and it said that I probably can't save it because I used Jpeg and mp3 files
in my project. So, do I have to convert all the files (the 100 or so still
pictures and about 6 clips of songs) to Bitmap and WMV in order to save my
project as a movie? If this is the case, why doesn't the program specify
this before starting a project since projects tend to take hours and hours to
complete? Is there any way around converting all my files or do I have to
start the whole project all over again?
P.S. I have since tried to re-save the project to my computer and I get the
same error message that everyone else seems to get, according to the
newsgroup (to check for enough space and all that...which i did, and
everything checks out).
Please help!! Thanks

Converting the source files .bmp and .wma
may be your answer, but the following article
may offer some ideas also:

Personally, I think PhotoStory 3 is a better
program to use when the source files are
all still images.
