I have many emails in my outlook and some have things I
would like to keep. HOW do I save my emails so I can burn
them to a cd or put them on a floppy? I tried compacting
them, but don't know how to find them. As I am not very
computer smart, please tell me step by step. I appreciate
it. Thanks.

If you just want to save a few of them click-and-hold on an e-mail and drag
it to the desktop, this will make a copy of it for you in EML format that
can be burned.

Jo,
Click: File/Save As/when that window opens, look at the top and you will see
a "Save in, etc"/if "Save in" does not end in "My Documents", click the down
arrow and select it/name the file anything you want and save it in any
folder you like. By that I mean that you can establish an individual folder
[sub-folder] for each one [Windows will do that automaticly] or establish a
new folder named "Saved E-mails" or anything else you like and can remember.
The point: they will be there until you delete them.
