How can I save a typed envelope and typed mailing labels
so that when I need them again I can click on the saved
document and print it. I could always do this with Mac.
Why not Windows?

Like your other question, this depends entirely on what word
processor you are using.
Windows itself has no facility to do anything like this.

However in general, it should the way you describe.

You need to use software specifically designed for label-making, such as is
sold by Avery. In Microsoft Word, you can simply set up the return address
of envelopes as the default return address and create a Word document that
contains the addresses you are working with. You then click on Tools,
Envelopes and can print the envelopes there.
