I purchased Office XP for Students one month ago and now
am having to repurchase the office 2003 student edition
because the last version can't be installed on both my
laptop and my home computer (sigh). Question: How do I
save my information in outlook before uninstalling the
2002 version so I can then use it when I install the 2003
version? (inbox, outbox, sent mail, address book)

Any help appreciated!! Tricia

Tricia,

If you are going to install Office 2003 on the same machine, you do not
have to backup your files. Uninstalling Office XP will not erase your
outlook profiles. But it's always a good idea to backup your data
before doing a major upgrade.

There are a lot of different ways to backup your Outlook profile. I
will not doing into details since many sites have already instructions
written down. Check this site and let us know if you still have problems.

Tricia - see this page for some perhaps late information you could have used
to get Office 2003 free (after S&H) if you bought Office in September:
