Why are you working live?
Publish your web from the remote server to your harddrive, then work
offline, test offline, then Publish it back to the remote server.
With your live web opened, File | Publish Web/Site then enter the location
on your harddrive where you will keep your webs...
C:\...\My Documents\My Webs\nameofweb (no extension) if you're using disc
based webs
http://localhost/nameofweb if you're running a server on your local
machine.
