saving computers name

hey,

is their anyway to save a computers name through xp remote, for example:
"work comp" instead of the ip address? I have a bunch of connections and i
didnt know if their was an easier way to distinguish what computer is what.
 
If you mean save individual connections for different PCs using Remote Desktop, then the answer is
yes. Open the Remote Desktop connectoid, ie. Start -> All Programs -> Accessories ->
Communications -> Remote Desktop Connection -> Options". Fill in the particulars for a PC and select
"Save As". You can then create desktop shortcuts if you want and name them anything you want...
