How do you save a complete web page with pictures? There used to be four
options for saving a web page in the "save as type" option, but now there are
only two. How do I get the other two back?

Thanks

Hi
I tried that and still only have the two options for saving.
Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Your OS is?
See: http://inetexplorer.mvps.org/archive/answers3.htm#default_client
"How to set OE as the default email client".
Assuming Windows Xp: http://support.microsoft.com/?id=318378

XP"
Others OS: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/194177/en-us

If you have *Web Highlighter* :

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

I have Windows XP SP2.

I could not figure out how to reinstall anything as I kept getting
redirected to the Windows update page and I couldn't find any options for
reinstalling.

I also read about needing OE5 installed, but could not find it anywhere.
I find the Microsoft website to be far too confusing to find what I'm
looking for.
Also, I know little about fixing computer problems.

Thanks again.

Have you seen here? -> http://support.microsoft.com/?id=318378
Try to reinstall Internet Explorer.
I also read about needing OE5 installed, but could not find it anywhere.

I set OE to default, but still no change.
I tried to reinstall IE, but got a "setup cannot continue" message as it
"detected a newer version already installed".

Any other ideas??

Thanks

Hi, I posted a similar question before I saw this post and I had the same
problem. I use IE 6 on WIN98. After I installed an ISPs tool band, I lost
the "complete Webpage" SAVE AS options.
I took Vincenzo's advice to disable "third party tool bands", I had to
re-start the computer; and "bingo" I got my SAVE AS file types back.

Thanks, Vincenzo.

That option should only be used as a diagnostic or as a temporary fix.

Use a tool such as BHODemon (from DefinitiveSolutions)
to identify the specific module(s) which were causing you a problem.
Then you can leave that option on and use any other third-party extensions
which don't cause you any problems.

Thanks Rob, I'll check it out and let you know how I do; but it won't be
soon, I'll put it on my list. Oh, by the way, just wanted to correct myself
and say that you don't have to RESTART the computer after disabling the third
party tool bands, but just have to close and re-open the IE browser.
