I am using Microsoft Small Business Edition 2003 - and I am just starting to
use Outlook on my home computer for my new home business, (I've used Outlook
for years at work on network computers).
I am trying to enter new business contacts, but I am getting this message
when I try to save the new contact: "Business Contact Manager does not
support this operation". I have also received this error message: folder has
been moved or deleted. Where should the folder for Outlook to use in saving
the contacts be located? I don't remember moving or deleting it, though. By
the way, I already have one contact in the Business Contact Manager saved
successfully, somehow! And I have also run the repair feature.

Thanks for your help.

Did you download the BCM Update and service packs? Quite a few things were
fixed in those. Also, you'll probably want to repair your .NET Framework.

You can download BCM update from here -

Hi DJ

You can do a repair of .net Frame work by highlighting the entry in Add
/Remove Programs and clicking on change

Thank you Leonid!
The update worked! How do I repair the .NET framework?
DJ

:

Well, if it works, there is no need to repair .Net ;-)

Otherwise, you'd go into add/remove programs and click Change and then
Repair on .Net framework. Don't do that unless you have a good reason.

Thanks to both of you, Raul and Leonid.
I'll save your instructions in case I need to run the repair in the future.
