BURAK

I have opened an xls file from my inbox in windows mail. I worked on it and
modified it. Then I pressed the X button to close it and excel asked me if I
wanted to save the file. I said YES, and it saved the file. Now I can't find
it in anywhere. I reworked on the file like 2 hours. I must find it.

Already searched everywhere documents, temp files etc. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
HELP ME URGENTLY

The file is probably located in a folder somewhere in
C:\Users\(youraccount)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet
Files\

"\AppData" is normally hidden
"\Temporary Internet Files" is normally a hidden protected Operating System
file

You'll have to remove the checkmark (if they're hidden) in Windows Explorer:
Organize - Folder & Search Options - View

It's best to save the attachment to a folder, then open the file there to
edit it.

The file is gone. Never open an attachment in WinMail and edit it and
expect the changes to be saved. This can only be done with MS Office
programs. Next time save the attachment and then edit it or after editing
an open attachment, save it where you can find it under another name.

You would have needed to have selected 'save as' then saved in your
Documents Folder.
Your file is probably lost

Your file is gone. You would have needed to save it to another location and not WM
after editing it or save it somewhere else then edit it. This what you tried to do
can only be done in a Office program
