I want to create a html file and have the problem, that while saving it
notepad only lets me choose from a .txt file or 'all files' as the file type.
But I can't open a .txt file with the explorer as a web page.
Can anybody tell me, why my notepad doesn't let me save the file as .html?
Or maybe I can change the file type afterwards?
thanks alot.

Hello,

When saving, put the name in double-quotes. eg "myfile.html" inclusive of
quotes

Select "all files" as the file type. In the file name box enter
<myfilename>.html where myfilename is the desired name of your new html
file. See the "Notepad overview" in the help menu of Notepad itself.
