im trying to save my movie to my computer so i can send it to the internet
for others to watch. but, when i did it, it was horribly pixelated on the
web! i am doing it again, and choosing the "best for playback on computer"
option. it starts to save, but when it gets to 91%, it stops, and the
estimated wait time, which was formally going down, starts to go up. when i
try "send it to the internet", it does the same thing! saving it to the
computer worked for my other movie, which was under 1 GB, and my new video is
over 1 GB, 1.999 GB to be exact. im guessing that the size difference may be
the problem, but how can i i fix it? the movie just wont save!!

1.999GB? Create smaller projects, anything
more than a few MBs is too large for uploading
to a video sharing site. YouTube...for example
has a file size limit of 100MBs.

Maybe this article will offer some ideas:

im sorry, the movie was 1.999 MB, not GB. it doesn't make sense; there are plenty of movies on youtube that are longer and more complex than mine, and they look fine! and also, the people who uploaded them aren't even directors, so i shouldn't be limited! is it the wmm program on this computer, or what?

Ok...1.999 MB should not be a problem.

Did you read the article?

okay, i read the article; it was really helpful! ...unfortunately, it wasn't helpful to my current problem, which is still ongoing. thanx anyway, though.
any more suggestions?

As you want to upload your clip to YouTube,
It has to be less than 10 minutes in length and
no more than 100mb in size.
YouTube converts your uploaded clip to flash.
Open WMM
Select "Import Video", your clip(s) must be in a file type
compatible with WMM.
Once you have all selected clips on Timeline -
Select "Save to my computer"
Select a name for your movie
Select a location to save to (My Video's is default folder)
Click "Next"
The "Movie setting" dialog will appear -
Click to select "Best fit to size", and select the size as 94mb
(Do not select to have as the max of 100mb as there is an
overhead issue)
You will see below in the "Settings details" it will be
detailed as a "Windows Media Video (WMV)"
with details of Bit rate, display size etc.
Click Next, and your movie will be produced and saved
to your chosen location - "My Videos"?
Once complete, this clip will meet YouTubes criteria of
being less than 10mins and less than 100mb and in a file
type - WMV, that it can convert to flash.
Logon to YouTube and upload, then post link so we can
all see it.
