In PowerPoint 2002 I can insert a movie from a file on a
CD and it runs fine under View Slideshow. When I try to
save as a new project, only the first picture from the
movie gets saved. Is there a way to save the the entire
movie into a PowerPoint file?

The movie is linked. At the time that you insert the movie, PowerPoint uses
the first frame of the video as a static representation of the video. The
video only plays in Slide Show mode. When you insert the movie, the file
should be in the same folder as the presentation. If you distribute the
presentation, send the movie *and* the presentation file. So, you'll have
to rip your movie from the CD, put it on the hard disk in the folder with
your presentation, and then do the insert.

Thanks!
