Saving a file

I can get the video file off my Panansonic Digital video
camera, but when I edit it, and add audio to it, it will
not allow me to save it. Says that I should check the file
source. I am able to put the edited file back onto the
camera though. I just can't save it on my PC or send it as
an email directly from the application. Thank you for you
time, John L

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. SO I DOWNLOADED MM2 FROM

MICROSOFT SITE AND INSTALLED IT AGAIN AND NOW WORKS FINE.
BUT WHY DOES IT SAVE IT AS A WMV. WHY CAN'T I CHOOSE MPEG?
 
In the 'Show more choices.... Other settings, you can also choose DV-AVI,
which is then usable in about any software you want to use to author and
burn your discs.
