I've read how a distribution list can be attached to an e-mail but I can't
find how the recipiant saves the file to their contact list. I sent a dist
list to myself, opened the attachment and did a Save and Close but the list
did not save. How can this be done. Thanks a bunch for your help.

Drag the attachment to your Contacts folder.

I'm trying to work this out as well. I have a list of over 400 people's
emails. Surely i don't have to add them individually do i!? Can anyone help

"Having a list" of addresses is certainly not the same thing as receiving a
message with a Distribution List attached. Start a new topic and state your
problem, giving details like your Outlook version and in what form your
"list of people's emails" takes.

It seems that you are having trouble with your Microsoft Office Outlook. To
choose which Microsoft Outlook version you are having trouble with, please
follow the link provided.

http://support.microsoft.com/select/default.aspx?target=hub&c1=505&

The link will direct you to a page where you can select what version of
Microsoft Outlook is installed to your system. After you chose the proper
version, you will be redirected to a page with help and how-to articles. On
the same page, you can also opt to be in contact with a Microsoft Outlook
Support Professional by clicking a link at the upper right part of the page.

Why would that help me? I always know what version of Outlook I'm using.
I am perfectly aware you know what outlook you're using - it was the latter
part of the note i thought may help. Apologise if it didn't. Good luck with
finding the answer to your query.

However, I had no query. Instead, I was trying to address your issue; the
one you posted in this message:

And I suggested that it would be better for you to open a new topic, which
you did. I figured we were done here, since this topic really belonged to
SITCFanTN.
