Saving a database to disk

Could someone please tell me how to save a database to a
CD (it's too big for a floppy)? I know this is probably
easy, but I can't seem to figure it out! I need to save
it so that I can send it to someone, have that person add
data and send it back, and then merge it with what I've
done in the meantime. I've tried right-clicking on the
file and choosing "send to" both mail recipient (Outlook
blocks the file from coming through) AND E:/ drive
(message received: E:/ is not accessible; incorrect
function), but neither works. Any help would be greatly
appreciated!! Thanks.

That helps, thanks. However, the CD is read-only - how do
I change that so that another person can enter data??

You can't. An Access database copied to a CD will always be made
read-only. The person receiving the CD must copy the database to his or her
computer and, then, using Windows Explorer, change the read-only property.

If the person receiving your database does not have the capability to burn a
CD so that changes can be sent back to you, you both may want to
investigating "zipping" the database and emailing it back and forth.

When I had to do the same thing, I just saved the database to my hard drive
and then burned a CD using the CD utility, just like any other data CD.
Your CD burner should have come with the CD writing utility.... as far as
it's concerned, your database file is just like any other file.

Hope this helps,

Thank you!! That is exactly what I needed to know.
