Hi,

I have made a hyperlink to a pps file. When I right click on the link and
selects save-as, Internet Explorer suggests to save it as a ppt file.

How can I avoid this?

Thanks for your help :)

Tor,

I'd just rename the file (from .pps to .ppt) when you save it from internet
explorer.

I do not know how you could change this behaviour

It should be noted, that if you change the file extension from .ppt to .pps
from within Windows Explorer that you will get a warning box "indicating
that if you change the file name extension, the file may become unusable".
When changing file extension from .ppt to .pps (or .pps to .ppt) it is OK to
click on YES button to make change.
