Has anyone had the issues of 2000 restarting automatically
and just telling you there was a save dump so the system
rebooted? I'm trying to figure out why and how do I stop
this from happening. It doesn't happen all of the time
either just every once and a while.

Yup. Spent weeks on it. What specificly is in the event logs?

I don't have the event log in front of me but I remember
something about a bug check and Error 1A and then it says
preformed a "save dump" and reboot. How did you end up
fixing the problem for yourself?

That's good enough info.

In general, stop errors are caused by hardware issues.

For myself, it turned out thay my processor was overheating. So i redused
the front side bus from ite default of 166 mhz to 133 mhz. In effect,
downgrading the processor from 2083 mhz to 1666mhz. It is an antlon xp
2600+ now pretending to be an athlon xp 2000+, MUCH more stable, haven't
seen the crash since. I didn't say so at the forefront because my solution
is so specific to my processor and BIOS.
