Saved Video with Errors --- Video Stops during playback

I have a problem similar to Betsy a few days ago.

My daughter created a complex Christmas video project for her friends with
lots of pictures and video clips. The Saving Movie process completes without
error. However, the rendered video file is screwed up at different points
every time I create the file for DVD (or other formats). The music track
continues to play, but the video stops at a frame and goes not further.

The video file appears to be funked up...If I move the slider further to the
right during playback, it bounces back to the point where the video locked up.

I read the following link but could not see a solution:
MM2 - Problem Solving - 'Can't Save A Movie'
http://www.papajohn.org/MM2-Issues-CantSaveMovie.html

The machine is a fully-loaded, relatively new desktop with 2GB of memory and
fast drives.

I am desperate for a solution since this was intended as a Christmas Gift
for her friends!

Thanks,
Mike

You may have some incompatibility issues
with your source files. Have a look at the

It was not a file compatibility issue. I "split" the project in two,
generated two separate output files and then merged them back together.
Sounds simpler than it actually was given there was no clean audio/video
boundary.
