Saved Powerpoint, cant' open

message says I don't have a text converter installed for
this file type. I simply added to a Powerpoint
presentation that had been opening with no trouble. I did
add text in the notes area and now the above comes up.
Since I cannot get the file up I don't know what file to
try to convert to.
I have been to MS download, update and etc. Cannot get
it to work.

Before I closed it to the regular save position i.e.,
where it had been before, I burned it on a CD and this
didn't come out as a slide show, only the JPEG pictures
individually. Don't know if this is tied together. GXS

You didn't happen to use Pack and Go, did you?

When you burned to the CD, did you do a File/Save as and choose JPG from
the "as type" box at the bottom of that dialog? That's the only thing I
can think which would cause PPT to save out a series of JPGs.
