Has anybody made a Saved Import of an XML file actually work from the Saved
version? I can find two other threads in the archive citing this exact same
issue, one from 2007 and the other from 2008, each of which failed to get
_any_ replies.
I'm trying to get a Saved Import of an XML file to work. The import works
fine from the UI. It saves fine. But when I try to immediately re-execute
that same Saved Import, all I get is "The specification failed to execute.
Try re-creating the specification." Obviously, this error message is an
infinite loop as the query specification can be "re-created" and work but
still won't work once Saved.
Any thoughts? I'm trying to automate a workflow quick and dirty in a Macro.
Obviously a Saved Import would encapsulate a lot of function pretty easily
but if it doesn't work...
