Wrote this same ques. several days and forgot to look for
answer.

Where are Outlook e mail saved items kept on the C drive?
Can they be accessed in other programs and saved/archived
in other ways?
 
I have this same problem. I have found some emails under
c/windows/application data/Identities/(long no)/Microsoft/
Outlook Express.

Try looking there and I would appreciate any other help
you get, or can give, as that is not the full answer.
