System Explorers, IE Settings.
When first accessed these settings, told me I did not
have a saved default URL/site. Highlighted the
appropriate item and made the change; it did not show
straight away on screen (a few attempts), and learned
that needed to reboot to take effect and for the change
to appear (Start page).
However, when tried to make the change in Browser
Restore, it showed the change immediately, nor did one
have to check the box to restore a highlighted item.
Hence, a suggestion: To save having to reboot after each
change in IE Settings, perhaps somehow one could be
re-directed to Browser Restore to make immediate changes
there.

I doubt you need to re-boot. I expect you have to close every Internet
Explorer window, and then re-launch it for the MSAS settings to be noticed
by IE.

Thanks for your comments, Robin, but perhaps you need to
try what I have suggested. The only window I had open
was in MSAS, checking the System Explorers, IE Settings.
My comments refer to MSAS not Internet Explorer!
