I am working on Win2K Pro. I did like to save the wallpaper that exists
on the desktop as a GIF image file. Can this be done?

Actually I had the GIF image in my hard disk using which I had set it
as the wallpaper but later it got deleted due to some problem in Win2K!

Thanks,

Arpan

Navigate to the file

But, as I have already told, the file no longer exists in my hard disk
now which is why I have asked this question. Had the GIF file existed
in my hard disk, I wouldn't have put forth my question in this
newsgroup!

Search for

Internet Explorer Wallpaper.bmp

and make sure you look in system and hidden files and folders

Sorry for the double post, Bob. Actually there was a disruption in
Internet services for a few seconds which is why I refreshed my browser
& that caused the double post. Sorry once again.

I got the wallpaper image in C:\WINNT. Thanks for your suggestion.

Regards,

Arpan
