We all know that Win XP there comes tons of updates to download; too many
for the average dial-up connection to handle. How could I save the updates
to a disk (Such as the service packs and such) so that when I install a
fresh copy of Win XP, I dont have to download over 30MB of udates again?

Hi,

Go to WindowsUpdate, select the catalog option in the left column. From
there, select the operating system of choice, download the updates in
stand-alone form. You can burn these to CD for later use.

If you do not see the catalog option, add it using personalize.
