save to dv tape and recieve choppy sound what is wrong?

I have finished making a movie in wmm 1, and i decided to save to dv camera. however every 15 seconds or so there was a pause in the audio. how should i go about solving this problem

Ensure you're running as little as possible in the background. Close out
Seti at Home, even temporarily disable antivirus software runnning in real
time.. (just remember to enable it again afterwards).... and walk away from
the PC. Watch tv, listen to music (NOT on the PC!), eat dinner, get an
early night etc etc. Don't surf, check email, do all the other stuff people
do at their PCs at the same time.
