Help! I have a database on my home computer with my
entire book inventory for my classroom library. It's
complete with a table and several queries that I have set
up. I'd like to save the entire thing to a CD so that I
can use it at school in an effort to organize my books.
How do I save it? I can't find any information about
this and no one seems to know.
Thanks!

Just burn the Mdb to the cd like any other file. when you
douload it to your school computer the file will be read
only(like all cd files). You will need to go into the file
properties and uncheck the Read only box.

Just like Jam/Chris says except:

1. If on a CDRW then will work just like any drive
2. If you have used a front-end back end design (split the database) you
will need to relink the tables
3. You will need to have Access available on the school computer.

Cheers,
