'Save target as' Problems

I download FLV movies from a site and when I select 'save target
as...' or press Enter, I only get the first five or six characters of
the file name. The whole string appears if I hold the cursor over the
download link. I use SeaMonkey for browsing and I just tested this
with IE and got the same result, so I'm guessing its something with
Windows (SP3). I have FLV in the file types option in Windows
Explorer. Any ideas on what might be causing this to happen and how
to correct?

Thanks for any help.

FLV is a comparatively new file extension and it may not work very well
with Windows' file system.

If you use SeaMonkey for browsing/downloading, you could have a look at a
file downloader. I found:

Video DownloadHelper
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamonkey/addon/3006/

And there are a few others.
