Hi.

I'd like to save my search results into a text file. Is it possible?
Till now I could only save my search criteria but I'm interrested in the
matching files instead.

Thanks in advance.

I forgot:

- I'd like to save the column information as well (e.g. owner, size,
location)

- I can't use Indexing Service for the files belong to a logical disk of
a cluster node (Windows 2000 Server). Since Indexing Service is not
supported on a cluster we didn't enable it.

Thanks for any hint/suggestion.

use the DIR cmd at the cmd prompt to pip the output to a txt file,
you'll need to do a DIR /? to see all the options available

Thanks Steve. However what you suggest is not applicable as the "dir"
command outputs a lot of garbage like empty lines, file count, total
size aso. Unless there is an option to wipe this out?

Also I'm stuck if I want to search files using the "Content" criterion,
is it right?
