Hi all, what I'd like to do is to save the list of files that i get
doing a file serch

example
I search for all file *.txt in drive E:\

what i'd like to obtain is a text file with the search result,
something like I obtain by old but gold DOS with "dir e:\*.txt
c:\result.txt"

is it possible??

Thanks to all

Yes, that still works.

You could also start a Search in the desired path, then File|Save Search
then copy the *.fnd to the desktop.

Thanks for your answer but

then copy the *.fnd to the desktop.

the fnd file saves "simply" the search query... not the search
result...I'd like to save the result (the output files).... or am I
wrong?

Thanks

I know. That was for quick reference. Use the former.

dir e:\*.txt>c:\result.txt
