When I use 'Save Picture As' and select .jpg as the
format I get a border on the right side and bottom of the
picture file making it look like a 3-d effect. This
doesn't happen if I select the .emf format but of course
the file remains huge. Can anyone explain how I can save
as .jpg without getting the border lines?

Thanks, but no that wasn't it. Any other ideas?

Cheers

I'm assuming you're right-clicking an object and saving it as a picture.

So it may be that you have a shadow on the object. If
the shadow matches your background color, you may not
even be able to see it. Check it by selecting the object,
then selecting the Shadow Styles tool on the Drawing
toolbar. (It's next to the 3D Effects tool button.) Turn
it off there by selecting "no shadow."
