Save no changes??

I don't know why, but I can open a doc, do absolutely nothing to it and when
I close it, it will ask if I want to save the changes. I don't have any
updating dates or any other thing like that in these docs, so why does this
happen and how do I stop it?

If you don't have any fields in your document, I suspect the cause is
SmartTags. See:
