Save my workspace toolbar settings?

I work in a studio. I have my toolbars setup for quick access and
productivity. Is there a way to save my toolbar seetings in case they are
reset to the default? I want to set up multiple standard toolbars in
locations where I am familiar to use in all instances. Keep them saved in
those locations even if someone comes and reverts my workspace to the default
toolbar locations.

I ask bc consultants sometimes have to login as me for my access to the corp
server.

PowerPoint stores toolbar customizations in a PCB file. Where it hides this and
under what name varies by version and whether or not the computer is set up for
one or multiple Windows users. And I think PPT2003 may use a PIP file as
well/instead.

Anyhow, have Windows Explorer search for all *.PCB files.
If there's a YourUserName.PCB file, note its location.
Otherwise, look for POWERPNT.PCB

Make a copy of that and try replacing the existing one on another computer with
your own copy (after making a backup of the existing one so you can restore it
later ... that's the couth way to be, eh?)

I searched and have no .PCB file.
I am using Office 2007

Still looking for a way to save and restore the customized quick access
toolbar.
THANKS

That's an older message you're replying to, one from before PPT2007, I suspect.
In any case, it won't work for 2007, so far as I know.

Echo/Kathy - weren't you two just discussing a way of doing something like this?
