Hello... I have captured video from my Digital camera, saved as a project.
However, I am unable to save this as a movie to write to a cd. The
File>Save movie file option is grayed out. Is there another way to save a
project to a cd?

Thanks..

Did you drag anything onto the time line?
There's nothing to save if you don't.

No... :-(

I was thinking I could just go from 'capture' to save as movie, since that's
all I was doing. Just capturing the content of the mini dv, with no changes,
but I guess not. :-) while I'm at it, can I remove extended 'dead
space/time'?

Okay, I completed the split clip thing, but every time I try to create the
movie (from a project) and save it to CD the program just accumulates this
enormous amount of time to complete. I have just cancelled it the last two
days after it states over 2200 minutes to complete. Any suggestions?

That is correct... the option is available, just hangs up. The project is a
result of me capturing video from my Sony MiniDV digital camera. No other
effects.. Just trying to do a standard 'save as movie'.

Another note, the 'save movie wizard' just never gets past 12% and anywhere
from 1955 to over 2000 minutes remaining. This after several hours, so at
this rate we are talking days if never. Is their another way to save the
project (or captured digital video) to a CD?
