I recently switched to a new computer. Both it and my previous one
use Outlook 2003. When I save a message, in both cases I get the
options of TXT, OFT, or MSG extent ions. The difference is that in my
old computer, if I specify a filename with extent ion, it is saved
that way, i.e. MESSAGE.ASC. In the new version, when I do exactly
the same thing, the file is save with an additional extent ion, i.e.
MESSAGE.ASC.TXT.
I have not been able to find the option to suppress the addition of
the extra extent ion. Any help?
