Several programs as part of their "save/save as" commands
have a series of folders that appear along the left side
under a "Save in" heading -- usually including "my
documents" "my computer" -- etc.

I use MS Office XP -- How can I add or change that list
of folders?

(Win2K and OfficeXP)

Thanks so much!

Gary

Hi Gary,

The following Microsoft Knowledge Base Article explains how to customize the My
Places bar in Microsoft Office XP.

"Save As" Dialog Boxes

The following document explains how to modify the list of folders on the Places bar
for the Microsoft Windows 2000 common dialog box that is used with Notepad, WordPad,
Internet Explorer, etc. And, for those who are interested, it also explains how to
customize the Microsoft Office 2000 Places Bar.
