At one time, I changed the SAVE IN file locations bar in explorer to my data
specific locations. Now I have a new profile and I can't remember how I did
that. Does anyone know how this is done?
Thanks

While you can edit the registry to accomplish your goal, the
easiest route is to use TweakUI from Microsoft.

Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP

Direct Download of TweakUI
http://download.microsoft.com/downl...a6-b352-839afb2a2679/TweakUiPowertoySetup.exe

Once you've installed the program look for Powertoys for
Windows XP on your Start menu. Run TweakUI and click on Common
Dialogs in the left hand column. Click on Places Bar. In the
right hand pane you can change the five available locations.

Take a look at these articles for more info,

Sigh.

I'm not blaming the messenger, but this is yet another example of
Microsoft stupidity. "Places Bar" does not appear in my TweakUI,
doubtless because I'm not running as administrator.

TweakUI hides a *lot* of per-user settings unless the user happens to
be an administrator. I can't cont the number of times I've seen "use
TweakUI" posted here as a solution, but because of this idiotic
design choice by Microsoft that solution isn't actually available.

Seems like a hole that sysinternals.com should step in and fill. Oh
wait -- Microsoft bought them to stop the embarrassment of free high-
quality system tools.
