Is there a way to automatically save all IE history to a txt file?

I need a way to record an updated list of the history, and I would like it
to be in a text file or something.

but, will either of these programs perform this real-time, or does it have to
be a manual process? I was hoping to be able to do this real-time (so it
logs all the history to a text file, even if someone deletes the normal
history files)

Neither program would do this real-time, manual intervention through their
GUI is required. However, IEHistoryView has command line options you can
use - say to put in a batch file and run that in a schedule.
Methinks what you are looking for is some sort of nanny-type program that
works in the background and logs all IE activity? Like this -
http://www.solidlabs.com/net/netlogger/
or http://www.softactivity.com/spy-software.asp or
http://www.guardiansoftware.com/monitor.html

Or maybe something like this would be useful:

or http://www.tucows.com/preview/332510.html
