Save by mistake

I was altering a MS Works Spreadsheet, including deleting
data, and went to hit "Save As" to create a new file, but
mistakenly hit "Save", which over wrote the old file. I
need to keep the info deleted in the old file. Is there
any way to retrieve that?

Nope. Unless you have a backup of the old file........
