Would appreciate any guidance regarding saving the audio track of a movie strip (in wav/ mp3 format?).

The video strip comes from a mpg file and imported into movie maker as a single strip.

Regards

Hello there,

MPeg, MP3 and Jpeg files do not work well with Movie Maker.

BUT, assuming your file does work OK then once it has been imported, drag it
down to the lower audio track and then click on FILE > SAVE MOVIE follow the
dialog through and create the best quality WMV file you are allowed to. The
resulting file will be Microsoft Audio (WMA) A WMA file can be converted by a
range of free programs into an MP3 or WAV.

Go to my site and click on GREAT LINKS > IMAGING > KNOWLEGE BASE > VIDEO HELP
and choose what you want to do, the web site will show all the options and
links to the necessary software.

If you want to save only the Audio Track of a video file,
then you can go to the timeline first, then add the video
to the audio track (the 2nd one), then publish to .wma
file.
