Save as web page - meeting appear on wrong date

Using Outlook 2003 on Exchange 5.5, when Saving calendars as web pages.. the daily calendar displays recurring appointments correctly but displays recurring meetings under the initial date it was created.

ie (when exporting the month of June):

--- June 5th ---
Appt 1
Appt 2

--- May 23rd ---
Meeting 1

--- June 6th ---
Appt 3
Appt 4


What gives? Is there a workaround for this that anyone knows of.
