Thanks in advance...
When I run the perfomance analyzer on my database Access recomends that I
save the file as an .mde rather than .mdb. This actually sounds like a good
idea, for when the system will finally be ready to use, and for testing
purposes, but I cannot seem to find munch in the way of literature on doing
this. Access help files don't give me an answer on how to go about it doing
it, and my googling has come up pretty much empty (there's lots of MDE
abbreviations, and apparently not enough about access). Of course, saveas in
the menubar is disabled wherever I might be in a position to save the entire
database, and I would think that it's at least a little more complication
than just changing the last letter of the extension.
Does anyone know how to do this, or know where to find some info on doing
it? I've come up dry....
Thanks
Jack
