I have a complicated Form (5 subforms embedded) and am
trying to Save/As a Data Access Page.

There are many combo boxes included in the form as well.
Some are combo boxes looking at a table/query, some are
value lists. There are roughly 30 of these on the form.
I am getting an error message stating:

Microsoft Access is unable to create the data access
page. the file you attempted to load was not recognized
as HTML. You may have selected the wrong file, or tried
to open a database file off a web server.

I have already Save/As on all of the subform (which also
contain various combo boxes) they they all saved
correctly. The main form does not. Any suggestions?

I am working in Access XP on an Access 2000 database in a
Win2k platform.

Hi Wayne,

My name is Dennis Schmidt. Thank you for using the Microsoft Newsgroups.

The conversion of forms to data access pages in Access will really only
work for very simple form designs. The following article shows how you can
simulate a subform on a data access page.
