Is there a way to change the default folder when you 'save as'.....such as
an image? (Right now it always goes to 'my pictures.')

Thanks,

Marc

There is no such option to do this. However, there is a registry entry, which
can be used to change the default folder path. But when you save a picture
for instance within from IE then it remember the last folder. If you change
the settings within from Registry (as I mention in my today's post) then it
will again revert whenever you change the folder to save image.

Mean while, you can use TWEAK UI to customize "PLACES BAR" which appear in
the Save As dialog box like "My Documents", "My Computer", "My Network
Places", "Desktop". You can change one or all places bar with your favorite
location or folders.

Download it from:
