Hope you can help

We have an NT4 PDC with 2000 clients.

I have been getting allot of reports lately that when users are trying to
save a document, and they click on the drop down box it takes 1 to 2 minutes
to populate the list. Also the first time they try and print a document it
takes 2 to 3 minutes but after they have printed the first document
everything else is fine.

I have notice a coloration between these problems and the PC's that we
imaged (sysprep) over the summer. Not sure if that is the problem though.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Jamie

Thanks Both

I found that there were inaccessable shares. Once I disconnected these
shares it worked fine.

Thanks For your help.

In addition to Marina's advice -

On those computers, in a command prompt, type net use and see if there are
any drives mapped to inaccessible shares. This is a known issue.

And I thank you on behalf of Marina. ;-)
