Save As = BMP only?

Clicking 'Save As' only gives me a BMP option for file format. Tried clearing
TIF files. Have Forefox on board and I can save a file as anything, but not
IE. This problem also appeared when 'View Source' stopped working. There is
something going on besides the TIF and shortcut abaritions. Would be nice if
MS would address this as it seems to be a very common problem that is only
getting band-aid help.

Hi,
Try clearing the Temporary Internet Files again. Also, delete Offline
Content when that box pops up.

Already done that more than four times. Even tried log-on, log-off,
powewr-on, power-off sequences with no change. I beleive that it is much more
than just the TIF scenario as it seems to work for some and not for others
and it will re-appear for some. It is also tied to the 'View Source' problem
as both seem to crop up at the same time and are "fixed" at the same time.

If that doesn't fix it, go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced and scroll
down to the Security section. Uncheck "Do not save encrypted pages to
disk".

Click Start/Run and type this command to fix the 'Content Type' settings:

regsvr32 /i mshtml.dll
(and/or)
regsvr32 /i shimgvw.dll (for WinXP)
