Can I ask why you would want to do this? Is it for printing...or some other
reason?
I know in powerpoint ppt 97 you could do a "View" > "Black & White"...then
save as "JPG or PNG" and it would produce static pages in black and white.
But in powerpoint 2002/XP 'they' fixed this neat feature.

You can create a PDF in b/w by printing to a b/w PS printer redirected to
File then distilling the resulting PS.
Or if images are the thing as you've described, TAJ, you can squirt out PNGs
or whatever, then use Irfanview ( www.irfanview.com - small, free, most
excellent ) to batch convert the images to b/w.
